Bar Manager / Duty Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to join our team at our Bar in Hamilton CBD. As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of our bar, ensuring an exceptional customer experience for all our guests.
This is a full-time position.
What you will be doing- Managing all aspects of the hotel bar operation, including staff supervision, inventory control, and financial management
- Developing and implementing creative bar concepts and cocktail menus to enhance the guest experience
- Ensuring high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and compliance with all relevant regulations
- Overseeing staff scheduling, training, and performance management
- Monitoring and analysing bar sales and profitability, and making data-driven decisions to improve operations
- Collaborating with the food and beverage team to create a cohesive and memorable
- dining experience for our guests.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Bar Manager or senior bartender role within the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of driving bar sales and profitability through innovative programming and exceptional customer service
- Excellent people management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Strong knowledge of bar operations, including inventory management, budgeting, and cost control
- Passion for mixology and a keen understanding of current trends in the bar and beverage industry
- Proficient in using bar management software and point-of-sale systems
- Duty Manager Certificate NZ would be a bonus if you have it already
- Ability to work nights and weekends
