  • About the roleWe are looking for a digital marketing enthusiast who is results-driven and customer-focused to complement our Sport and Wellbeing team.

This role requires excellent marketing skills and strong social media know-how to continue growing engagement with students and the wider community.

It also includes general marketing responsibilities alongside content creation.Salary will be in the range of $71,275 to $84,695 per year, pro-rata based on the skills, knowledge, and experience you bring to the role.
This is a part-time position (30 hours per week), fixed term for six months, based at our Hillcrest Campus.For more information on the role, please see the position description here.

  • Who are you?You will have experience in a social media, marketing, or digital-focused role, with the ability to plan, create, and manage high-quality social media content.

You will be audience-first and brand-driven, with a strong commitment to producing engaging, on-trend content.You will work predominantly in the health and fitness space, managing a range of marketing assets for UniRec, the on-campus gym at the University of Waikato.

As a content creator, storyteller, and brand advocate, you will inspire and engage our community through your creative eye and understanding of social platforms.You will hold a relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field (or equivalent experience), with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience working in social media.

Strong communication skills, platform knowledge, Adobe Suite experience, and confidence using social media scheduling and analytics tools are essential.Ko wai mātou?
