About our group | Mō te roopu We regulate activity across the climate, land & ocean environments to enable New Zealand to sustainably utilise its natural resources, protect its environment and meet its international obligations.

About the role | Mō te tūnga The registry Analyst is responsible for: Providing analysis, business and administrative support to the New Zealand Emissions Trading Register (the Register).
The facilitation of sound decision-making, contributing to the development of operational policy and processes, analysis of operational activity and issues, stakeholder relationship management, financial and statutory reporting, and supporting the implementation of business initiatives.
Providing ETS information to other Agencies and the Public as required The day-to-day administration of the ETS, provide and justify decisions affecting clients the EPA, and/or the Registrar on the basis of statutory requirements and operational policy About you | Mōhou ake We are looking for someone with a range of skills and experience- if you have some or all of the below, we would love to hear from you.
Knowledge of International arrangements (Paris, Kyoto) Being fully aware of the information requirements under the Climate Change Response Act, the Official Information Act, and the Privacy Act.
Demonstrated ability to make effective decisions in the context of a legislative framework Demonstrated ability to apply complex legislation to decision making Demonstrated ability to work individually and as part of a team to deliver agreed results Sound decision making ability Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Sound MS Suite skills (i.e.

Salary range $64,430- $96,646 per annum (midpoint $80,538).
Appointments will likely be made at or below the midpoint of this range, depending on skills and experience.
