About the role The Team Leader, Learning Coordination is responsible for leading a team that provides centralised and flexible coordination and support across all learning and development activities within the organisation, working closely with our learning design and delivery teams.
The role reports to the Head of Learning and Capability and will have six direct reports, managing our learning coordinators on a day-to-day basis.
The team is responsible for: Planning and management of learning and development schedules.
Input into online learning systems, including learning content, schedules and records.Upload of learning modules to our learning management system for bookings.
Organisation and preparation of learning and development materials and collateral.
Coordinating all learning logistics, including travel, accommodation, room bookings, catering, room and workshop set-up.
While this role is a Wellington based position, there is flexibility for this role to be based in our Auckland office.
National travel will also be required from time to time.
The salary band for this position starts at $115,536 to a maximum of $161,412.
Starting salaries are based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, as well as internal relativities.

You will either be an experienced or aspiring people leader with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for helping others learn and develop.
To be successful in this role you will have: Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workload.
Passion for leading people, coaching, mentoring and learning is essential.Demonstrated effective management of internal and external relationships, using influencing and persuading techniques to build confidence and trust.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience in planning and managing multiple activities and priorities to meet business needs.
A proactive and continuous improvement mindset.
Experience in a people leadership role is desirable but not essential.
