- Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the roleThis role plays an essential role in ensuring the successful provision of patient-centred care by fostering a welcoming environment for patients right from the start.Duties include:making appointments (new and follow-up) for surgical services such as General Surgery, Colo-rectal and Urology into the computer systempreparing referrals to send to Clinicians for triagingreceiving referrals back and loading these onto waiting lists from where appointments for clinics and associated tests are made.This role is heavily involved with administrative processes for outpatients, and we're looking for someone who is 'on the ball' when it comes to ensuring that the necessary paperwork is accurate.
