Commercial Carpenter | Queenstown

On behalf of our client, we are seeking skilled and motivated Commercial Carpenters to join a large-scale project in Queenstown. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a professional construction team delivering high-quality commercial builds.

The ideal candidates will be experienced tradespeople with proven carpentry skills, a commitment to safe work practices, and the ability to work effectively as part of a site team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out high-quality commercial carpentry work in line with project specifications
• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and technical instructions
• Work collaboratively with foremen, tradespeople, and subcontractors to meet project goals
• Adhere to all site Health & Safety requirements and company procedures
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a professional approach on site

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a carpenter in commercial construction
• Ability to read and work from construction plans
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Knowledge of Health & Safety practices on construction sites
• Trade qualification (preferred but not essential if experience is strong)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time on-site

The Offer:

• $29–$35 per hour, dependent on experience
