We are an early-stage, venture-backed startup building the next generation of technology-powered trading infrastructure.

Our mission is to empower traders through data, automation, and transparency — starting with a robust backend that can process high-frequency market data, execute trades seamlessly, and scale globally.

We are seeking a Frontend Engineer with strong technical skills and product aesthetics — someone who cares about how interactions feel, not just how they function. You’ll work closely with founders, backend engineers, and traders to build a polished, high-performance web experience for modern markets.

• Develop and ship user-facing features using **React, Next.js, TypeScript**, and modern frontend tooling.
• Implement **SSR** and performance-focused UI rendering for real-time data experiences.
• Build clean, reusable UI components using **shadcn/ui**, **Tailwind CSS**, and structured design systems.
• Translate complex trading workflows into **simple, intuitive, and responsive interfaces**.
• Maintain consistency in **spacing, motion, typography**, and component behavior across the product.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate **REST/GraphQL APIs** and live data streams.
• Write clean code with reviews, documentation, and incremental improvements in mind.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• **2+ years** of frontend development experience using **React and Next.js**.
• Hands-on experience with **Server-Side Rendering (SSR)** and modern UI tooling.
• Familiarity with **shadcn/ui**, **TanStack**, **Tailwind**, and functional programming concepts.
• Strong design & UX sensibility — you care deeply about visual quality and user flow.
• Solid communication and collaboration skills.
• Legally eligible to work in New Zealand and available fully on-site in Auckland.

• Experience shipping **data-rich** dashboards or financial visualization products.
• Understanding of charting libraries (e.g., Recharts / ECharts / D3.js).
• Curiosity about **trading, fintech, or interface design for high-frequency data**.
• Portfolio or GitHub showcasing polished, high-quality front-end work.
