We're looking for a reliable and experienced Solar Technician to join a busy and growing team delivering solar energy solutions across the Hamilton and Waikato region. This is a fantastic full-time opportunity offering consistent work, weekly pay, and the chance to build a career in renewable energy.About the Role:

You'll be installing, maintaining, and commissioning solar PV systems on residential and commercial properties. The work involves rooftop and ground-mounted systems, wiring and connecting inverters, running cabling, fault-finding, and system testing.

You'll be expected to work safely at heights and ensure all installations meet New Zealand electrical and safety standards.

Potential travel outside the Waikato region.. All travel and accommodation costs will be covered if required.What You'll Be Doing:
  • Installing solar panels, inverters, and battery storage systems
  • Wiring solar PV systems and connecting to switchboards
  • Conducting system fault-finding and repairs
  • Completing system commissioning and client handovers
  • Following safety procedures and maintaining high-quality workmanship
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and reportsWhat You Need to Succeed:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience installing solar PV systems
  • Full New Zealand driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Own tool kit
  • Comfortable working at heights and physically fit
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Electrical Registration or working towards it is an advantage
  • Experience with battery storage or EV charger installations is a plus
  • EWP or Working at Heights certification desirable but not essentialWhat We Offer:
