Café Manager
Auckland
As the Café Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of our café. This includes supervising staff, maintaining quality control, managing customer service, monitoring food safety, ordering stock, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth service across kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day operations of the café
- Lead and support a small team (baristas, cooks, FOH)
- Ensure high-quality service and food presentation
- Manage rosters, inventory, and supplier communication
- Monitor compliance with hygiene, safety, and operational standards
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly
- Provide on-the-job support in coffee-making, food prep, or customer service as needed
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week (Full-time)
Salary range: $29-$35
Minimum Qualification / Experience Required:- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- At least one year of hospitality experience or retail supervisory experience
- Knowledge of barista work and kitchen operations preferred
- Strong customer service and team leadership skills
This is an ideal role for someone with both back-of-house and front-of-house experience, who enjoys leading small teams and building excellent customer experiences.
