Position: Cafe supervisor (First position)Role overview:
- We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Cafe Supervisor to manage school cafe operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient preparation, presentation and sale of food and beverage items. They will also be responsible for inventory management, ordering and compliance with all relevant food safety regulations.
- Operational Management:
- Oversee daily cafe operations, including food preparation, heating, stocking and serving a diverse range of items for sale.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Ensure timely and friendly service to all customers, fostering a welcoming and efficient cafe environment.
- Inventory and ordering
- Manage inventory, stock take and place timely orders.
- Quality and compliance
- Maintain strict adherence to all food safety and hygiene standards, including a thorough understanding and implementation of the Auckland Food and Hygiene Certificate requirements and associated documentation.
- Team Support:
- Collaborate effectively with the cafe assistant to ensure smooth daily operations and a cohesive work environment.
6am-2:30 Monday to Friday
School terms onlyEnjoy 12 weeks of holiday a year, aligning with the school breaks
Requirements:- Proven experience in a cafe or food service supervisory role
- Comprehensive understanding and practical application of the Auckland Food and Hygiene Certificate and its associated paperwork
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-pased environment

Cafe Assistant (second position)
Role Overview:We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised team member to assist in a school cafe who can create a positive experience for our customers.
Key responsibilities:- Customer service:
- Assist the Cafe Supervisor in serving customers efficiently and courteously.
- Operational support:
- Help prepare and stock food and beverage items as directed.
- Cleanliness and hygiene
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the cafe, including regular cleaning tasks and adherence to hygiene protocols.
- Stock management
- Assist with restocking shelves and display units to ensure products are readily available.
- Team collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with the Cafe supervisor to ensure smooth daily operations.
10am-2:30pm Monday to Friday

Requirements:
Prior experience in a cafe or customer service environment is preferred.
