We're seeking experienced, resilient Support Workers to work in specialist residential disability services supporting people with intellectual disabilities, mental health needs, and complex behaviours.

This role suits people who are:

• Confident, assertive, and calm under pressure
• Resilient and emotionally strong
• Clear communicators with strong spoken English
• Proactive, practical, and firm but fair
• Comfortable working with structure, routines, and support plans

About the Role:

• Active, person-centred support in small residential settings
• Following behaviour and support plans closely
• Supporting daily living, routines, community access, and appointments
• Managing complex behaviours safely and professionally
• Working as part of a well-supported team environment

What we are looking for:

• Relevant experience in disability and/or mental health (At least 6 months)
• Full NZ Driver Licence (essential)
• CPI training (preferred)
• Confidence transporting clients and driving vans
• Mental health experience
• NZQA qualification in Health and Well-being Level 2 , 3 or 4 (or equivalent)
• A current First Aid Certificate
• Valid NZ working rights
