About the role

Single Point of Entry (SPOE) is a person - s initial contact with the mental health services. We streamline the way people are referred for the Adult Community Mental Health Services they require. We are a tight knit, multidisciplinary team made up of registered Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists.

The receptionist - s role includes receiving calls from the public, GPs, community agencies and referring them on to the clinical staff who will talk with them. The role also includes general admin duties.

As an experienced Receptionist/Administrator you will know what it takes to provide great customer service and administration support to your team. This is a varied role so your ability to organise and prioritise your workload, coupled with your desire to help those around you will see you succeed in this position.

As part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Claim settlement this role has been mapped to National Band 4/Profile 4A

About you

Skills and experience

Desirable:

  • Sound knowledge of the English language
  • Strong computer and keyboard skills
  • Previous experience in medical terminology and/or experience in the health sector

This is a permanent part-time role, so if you are a self-motivated positive person who enjoys a challenge and supporting a busy team, is capable of multi-tasking and has a high level of organisational skills, and thrives in working under pressure than we - d like to hear from you.
