Receptionist (Motel) - Christchurch

This is a full-time, customer-facing role ideal for someone with excellent communication and multitasking skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
  • Check guests in and out using motel booking systems
  • Manage reservations via phone, email, and online platforms (e.g., Booking.com)
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally
  • Process payments and issue invoices
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
  • Maintain records and reports accurately
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of relevant customer service or reception experience
  • A minimum of Level 4 Certificate or higher is required
  • Proficient in English; additional language skills an advantage
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, motel booking systems)
-Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Must be available to work weekends or public holidays as rostered
Employment Type: Full-time (Minimum 30 hours/week)
Hourly Pay Rate: NZD $24.00–$28.00 (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Permanent
