Junior Shephard

We are looking for a young enthusiastic shepherd to join us and assist us in running our property.

You would be working along side our stock manager undertaking a wide variety of farm tasks. Mainly stock work but assisting in farm maintenance and tractor driving as required.

We are a 10000 stock unit sheep, beef and dairy heifer grazing property in western southland. We run 5000 ewes and 700 cattle aiming to finish our progeny on farm.

We have modern tidy machinery and aim to take pride in our farm and stock.

We are looking for someone with 2-3 years of experience in the sheep and beef industry that would be competent in working as part of team or be able to work unsupervised.

The applicant must have 2-3 working dogs.

Accommodation would be shared in modern 2 bedroom cottage.
