Learning Area Leader (HOD) – Mathematics
Maruawai College is seeking a passionate and forward-thinking leader to guide our Mathematics department.
We are a welcoming school on two campuses, Junior Campus Year 7 and 8, Senior Campus Year 9-13, where staff work collaboratively, students feel safe to learn, and relationships are at the heart of what we do. The ability to teach senior Mathematics in either Calculus or Statistics to NCEA Level 3 is essential. Proven leadership experience, or readiness to step into a leadership role, is highly desirable.
In this role, you will lead curriculum development, assessment practices, and the ongoing success of Mathematics at Maruawai College. You will be part of a supportive leadership team committed to continuous improvement and positive outcomes for all students.
This is a permanent, full-time position with 2 Salary Units and 1 Middle Management Allowance. Additional units or responsibilities may be available depending on experience.
