We currently have a full-time permanent vacancy at Admatha Dementia Care, working a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Hourly rates are as follows: $23.50 (Level 1), $24.06 (Level 2) $26.16 (Level 3), $28.25 (Level 4)
You will:
- Assist in the delivery of culturally safe, effective, holistic personal care needs such as showering, dressing, eating, mobility and communication
- contribute to planning the care of individuals and following therapy plans to assist those with dementia
- observe and report on residents progress and promptly report any change in residents’ condition or concerns about care
- ensure residents’ records are accurate, appropriate and up to date
- provide support to registered nurses within their scope of practice
Requirements for consideration:
- A genuine commitment to make a positive difference to the lives of elderly people by caring for them with love and empathy
- Ability to work any shift across a 24/7 roster
- A passion for working in the field of aged care
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- Experience in dementia care would be a strong advantage
To qualify for visa support, the following additional requirements apply:
- A Registered Nursing degree, OR
- A Level 4 or above qualification directly relevant to caregiving, accompanied by an International Qualification Assessment (IQA),
