About the role:

We’re looking for a Production Supervisor with strong mechanical skills to join our team. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll lead daily operations, troubleshoot and maintain machinery, and ensure top-quality output while driving continuous improvement.

This is more than just managing production, it’s about inspiring a team, building accountability, and fostering growth. Your leadership, hands-on mechanical know-how, and understanding of automation will be key to success. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and motivate a production team.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and automation equipment.
  • Identify and resolve production issues to minimise downtime.
  • Make timely decisions to keep operations efficient.
  • Manage workloads, absenteeism, and shift coverage.
  • Use data and reports to drive productivity, reduce waste, and improve processes.
About you:

You’ll bring at least five years’ manufacturing experience and although this is a leadership position, we are open to candidates who are ready to step into people leadership and will provide training and development to support their progression.

You’re mechanically minded, tech-savvy, and happy to get hands-on with machinery. You’ll also have:

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly in mechanical or production challenges.
  • A proactive, action-oriented approach with a hands-on mindset.
  • Clear communication and accountability in leadership, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Financial awareness to manage costs, productivity, and equipment efficiency.
  • The ability to train, mentor, and develop others in both operational and technical skills.
  • Formal qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, or a hands-on trade with proven experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery.
