Quantity Surveyor - Wanaka based opportunity - Christchurch
We’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor with strong NZ-based experience to join a well-established, fast-growing consultancy. With a portfolio that includes high-end residential builds, major hotel projects, and large-scale developments, this is a great opportunity to step into a senior role with long-term potential.
About the Role:
This is a key position in a tight-knit team where you’ll be involved across all aspects of Quantity Surveying, including:
- Providing accurate cost estimates and budgets
- Managing contracts and ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Mentoring junior staff and sharing your expertise and knowledge
- Using your knowledge of NZ construction methods to drive project success
- Navigating NZIA and NZS contracts with confidence
What We’re Looking For:
- NZ-recognised QS qualification (NZIQS approved)
- Proven QS experience in NZ—high-end residential/commercial project experience
- Strong contract knowledge (NZIA/NZS)
- Proficiency in industry software
- Clear communicator with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset
