Key responsibilities:
- Daily operations in the Weaner and Grower area which include welfare checks to ensure a high quality of health, monitoring of clean and fresh food and adjustments to satisfy appetite
- Engage in various physical tasks like the movement and sizing of stock to maximise productivity as part of routine stock management
- Maintain high standards of animal welfare and operational cleanliness to minimise health challenges to the stock
Ideal candidate:
- At least one year of previous piggery experience
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment where getting your hands dirty is part of the job, some weekend work required
