NZ freight inspect is seeking a reliable individual to undertake inspections of cargo shipments prior to export.
This role requires very little time investment (1-5 hours per week currently) and pays up to $50 per inspection. Each inspection takes around 15-30 minutes to complete (not including travel time) so can work out to an excellent hourly rate if you're efficient and schedule wisely.
You will initially start with a few inspections per week, with potential for the number of inspections to increase in the future.
For travel that is significantly outside of your inspection area, we will arrange compensation for time & petrol.
Due to low time-input required, this would be an ideal role for someone with existing flexible work arrangements, retirees, or students. The work does not require any qualifications, and though experience in the recycling industry, exports, freight, or inspections is a plus, this is not a requirement.
So what do we need from you?- You will need to be based in Wellington or nearby & willing to travel to other locations on occasion.
