Position Overview- The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring that every guest receives outstanding service and that the restaurant maintains its reputation for excellence. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality and Middle Eastern cuisine.
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including staff supervision, guest relations, and service quality
- Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house and support teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to maintain menu consistency and presentation standards
- Monitor financial performance, including budgets, cost control, and revenue targets
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Oversee reservations, events, and private dining experiences
- Maintain the restaurant’s brand image and uphold fine dining standards
- Minimum 3–5 years of management experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage teams and deliver high-quality service
- Knowledge of Middle Eastern cuisine and culture preferred
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems
- Duty Manager certificate preferred
- NZ citizenship or residency only
