- Employment Type: Part to Full-Time (30–40 hours/week)
We are a fast-growing Airbnb property management company based in Queenstown, and we’re seeking a hands-on, detail-focused Assistant Manager to oversee housekeeping and property operations across our portfolio.
✨ Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily housekeeping schedules across multiple short-term rental homes
- Supervise and support cleaning teams; conduct regular quality checks
- Train and onboard new cleaning staff to meet company standards
- Monitor and manage inventory: linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies
- Liaise with guests and assist with check-ins/outs when needed
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate with contractors
- Support the Operations Manager in ensuring excellent guest experiences
✅ Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning team leadership, or hotel operations
- Proven ability to manage staff and maintain high cleaning standards
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Friendly, reliable, and proactive team player
- Tech-savvy – able to use basic scheduling tools, messaging apps, and checklists
- Valid Driver Licence
- Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
- Based in Queenstown (or able to relocate quickly)
