Chef
The Curry Master is a local Indian food takeaway, and we are currently looking for an experienced Chef to join our team.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in cooking Indian cuisine OR a NZQF Diploma.
Pay Rate: $25–$30 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare a variety of Indian dishes.
Cook traditional South Indian and Indo-Chinese dishes.
Determine portion sizes and dish pricing.
Prepare ingredients and cook to order.
Maintain high food quality standards.
Prepare North Indian curries and Tandoori breads (like roti/naan).
Ensure kitchen hygiene and safety standards as per NZ regulations.
Works well under pressure.
Perform other general duties required of a chef.
