The Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Solar / Electrical / HVAC Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role involving installation, maintenance, and servicing of solar PV systems, electrical systems, and air conditioning units.
Most of our work is solar, and the role will include travel out of town when required. We currently have a strong pipeline of projects, so there is plenty of consistent work.
You’ll be working across residential and commercial sites, with an expectation that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
Install and commission solar PV systems (grid-tied and off-grid)
Perform general electrical work including switchboards, wiring, and fault finding
Install, service, and maintain air conditioning and heat pump systems
Ensure all work complies with NZ electrical and safety standards
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
Work both independently and as part of a team
Communicate professionally with clients on-site
Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle
Skills & Experience
Registered Electrician (or working towards registration)
Solar experience preferred (training can be provided)
Air conditioning / heat pump experience an advantage
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to read plans and technical drawings
Full NZ driver licence
Reliable with a solid work ethic
