Automotive Technician - Christchurch

At EVs Enhanced we are specialists in products and services that make owning electric vehicles better. We work on EVs from a range of manufacturers including Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, BYD, MG, Peugeot and Tesla.

You’ll have the opportunity to work with and learn from our experienced EV technicians and engineers and develop your EV knowledge and skill set while working on the job.

• Performing maintenance, updates and enhancements exclusively on EVs
• Working with senior technicians to learn fault diagnostics and repair skills on both high and low voltage systems
• Salvaging useful parts from damaged/parts vehicles
• Helping to keep our workshop tidy and organised

• An automotive qualification and experience working as a general automotive technician
• An interest in electric vehicles and emerging technology
• A strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• An interest in how and why things work and a history of pulling things apart to understand them.

• Experience working around EVs, hybrids or other high voltage systems
• Experience with lithium ion batteries
