We are seeking an experienced leader to drive our growing international programme. The role of the International Director encompasses:

• Successfully maintaining and expanding a comprehensive international programme, fostering opportunities for cross-cultural experiences that benefit both students and community.
• Developing and executing a strategic plan for the international student programme that meets and exceeds set goals, ensuring alignment with the priorities of the kura while fostering growth.
• Ensuring the inclusion, health, welfare, and academic success of all international students, promoting their integration and achievement within the wider school community.
• Implementing policies and procedures that advance the strategic goals of the programme while ensuring compliance with the Code and all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Providing timely and detailed reports to the Principal on the outcomes, challenges, and successes of the international programme, ensuring transparent communication.
• Presenting relevant updates and strategic insights to the Board as required, highlighting key outcomes and future initiatives.
• Presenting and managing an annual budget for the international department that demonstrates fiscal responsibility, aligning financial resources with strategic priorities.
• Oversee and implement the Yamamura exchange.

• Oversight of the overall well-being of international students, ensuring they have access to necessary support services for their physical, emotional, and mental health.

• Ensuring the international programme operates in full compliance with all relevant regulations, including adherence to The Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021.

• Cultivating strong communication channels with international students, their families, education agents, and overseas partner institutions.
