Churton Hart & Divers Limited have been practising law in the greater Auckland area for over 100 years. We pride ourselves on providing quality service to all of our clients, many of whom have been with us for decades.

We are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant / Secretary to join our small, busy and friendly team in Highland Park.

You'll be responsible for assisting with Trust Accounting which will involve receipting and processing payments into Actionstep, setting up payments at ASB Bank, archiving files, and general office assistance when required. This may include answering phones, covering the Reception desk, and general secretarial / administration duties.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have either previous experience working in a similar Trust Accounting role within a law firm, or a strong background in Accounts and the ability to be trained into the role.

You'll also need to have excellent English communication skills, competent computer skills, impeccable attention to detail and accuracy with numbers, a positive can-do attitude, and strong organisational skills to succeed in this role.

This is a full time position working Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm. An immediate start is available and a competitive remuneration package will be offered aligned with the skills and experience you bring to the role.
