We have partnered with Emirates as one team to create an incomparable lounge experience that people value and remember! We are looking to build our team in our **Emirates Lounge at Auckland Airport** and are now recruiting for **Casual Kitchen Assistants.** As this is a casual position, **hours of work are "as and when required"** basis upon business needs.
**Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:**- Provide a warm, friendly, and welcoming style of service to all customers.
- Maintain clean and tidy dining and kitchen areas, including cleaning tables, floors, and equipment.
- Assist with preparing and presenting food, including portioning and plating.
- Wash dishes, including pots, pans, crockery, and kitchen equipment.
- Communicate effectively in the workplace and maintain personal presentation standards.

**If you're our ideal candidate, you will:**- Have excellent communication skills and be great team player
- Be well presented with a friendly outgoing personality and a positive attitude
- Have some experience working in a commercial kitchen
- Hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167)
- Demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
