We're looking for an experienced and motivated Legal/Administrative Secretary to join our client's busy and supportive team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys providing top-quality administrative and secretarial support in a professional environment, where attention to detail, teamwork, and client service are key.
About the Role:You'll play an important role in supporting our principals and team members with a variety of secretarial and administrative tasks. No two days are the same — you'll be managing correspondence, preparing documents, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing efficient secretarial and administrative support to principals and team members
- Preparing, editing, and formatting legal documents and correspondence
- Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and maintaining client files
- Handling phone and email enquiries in a professional and welcoming manner
- Assisting with billing, file management, and general office administration
- Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
What We're Looking For:
- 3 years' administration experience (legal secretary experience an advantage).
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Someone who is organised, reliable, and can thrive in a team-focused environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Works well under pressure and can prioritise to meet deadlines.
- Shows initiative and takes pride in doing things well.
- Is adaptable, proactive, and enjoys supporting others.
- Have legal right to permanently work in New Zealand.
