Experienced Commercial Carpenter
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Carpenter to join our clients team for commercial projects in Southland. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, solid carpentry experience, and the ability to work independently on diverse commercial project.
What You’ll Do:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specs
- Assemble structal steel, install tilt panels, form work, install frames, finishing work
- Work with a range of tools and materials
- Maintain site cleanliness and safety, following all health and safety protocols.
- Problem-solve on the fly, making adjustments and proposing solutions as required to overcome challenges during construction.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in commercial carpentry (min. 4 years preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Problem-solving abilities for tackling unexpected challenges on-site.
- Own tools and valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Site safe, working at heights, EWP ticket (not essential)
