The Role
As an Electrical Supervisor, you will provide the first level of employee supervision and manage site work on defined projects or scopes where Wells has been engaged. Using your technical expertise and people leadership skills, you will progress work safely and effectively.You will engage with customers to ensure satisfaction, support and motivate site teams, and uphold quality and HSE standards. Acting as the daily face of Wells to our clients, you will lead by example, ensure accurate QA/QC data and timesheets, and adapt to changing tasks and priorities while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Supervise and mentor electricians and apprentices on-site.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor electrical and instrumentation projects to ensure safe, high-quality delivery.
- Represent Wells professionally to clients, maintaining strong relationships.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and company standards.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Be hands-on as required, contributing to on the tools work.
- New Zealand Electrical Limited License or Electrical Limited Registration (EST) minimum.
- Maturity in handling customer and staff matters.
- Strong knowledge of workplace health & safety and a commitment to embodying a great HSE culture.
- Confidence to make on the ground decisions to get the best out of staff.
- Good level of health and fitness.
- Clean driver’s license.
- Confident communicator, both written and oral.
- Willingness to be on the tools as needed.
- High ability to prioritise and organise work to meet targets.
