Delivery Driver/Labourer
Hamilton
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver/Labourer to join our team. Most deliveries are within the Waikato, occasionally further away – Auckland, Coromandel etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading, unloading and transporting cabinetry
- Checking all components of job are present prior to delivery
- Deliver goods to various locations in a safe and timely manner
- Perform general labouring tasks, including site clean-up and basic manual handling
- Ensure delivery paperwork is completed accurately
- Follow workplace Health & Safety procedures at all times
- Other duties in our factory/workshop to assist joiners and production staff complete projects: Picking/sorting hardware for jobs, assisting with assembly/machining tasks.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong work ethic, and a proactive attitude
- Valid driving license
- Ability to drive manual vehicles (vans & class 1 trucks)
- Be physically fit and able to lift heavy items
- Good communication and time management skills
- Be reliable, punctual and able to work with minimal supervision
- Applicants must have NZ Residency
