AJD Plumbing & Gas is a busy and expanding plumbing and gas business. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a capable Office Administrator to help keep everything running smoothly. You’ll start working from home, with the opportunity to transition into an office-based role as the business expands.
What you’ll be doing- Scheduling jobs using the Fergus system
- Preparing and following up invoices
- Communicating confidently with clients, suppliers, and our internal team
- Managing customer emails and phone enquiries
- Keeping records and files organised and up to date
- Supporting basic marketing and advertising tasks
- Handling accounts-related tasks, including entering and generating invoices
- Keeping communication flowing so the team always knows what’s happening
- Bringing a positive attitude and taking pride in your work
- Using digital tools confidently (experience with Xero or similar systems is a bonus)
- Have admin or customer service experience (helpful, but not essential)
- Are confident using Gmail, Fergus, Xero, and other digital tools
- Have strong communication and time-management skills
- Are organised, detail-focused, and enjoy keeping things running smoothly
- Want to grow your role while working closely alongside the director
