Sales Representative – Bay Air - Heat Pumps

At Bay Air, we specialise in heating, cooling, and ventilation solutions that transform homes and businesses across the Bay of Plenty. Based in Mount Maunganui and locally owned, we’re all about helping our customers live and work in comfort, all year round.

We’re looking for a Sales Representative with strong people skills, technical curiosity, and the drive to build their own pipeline. This isn’t a desk job—you’ll be out on the road, visiting customers, generating leads, and recommending solutions that actually improve lives.

What you'll be doing:

Selling heating, cooling, and ventilation solutions to homeowners, landlords, and builders

Providing expert advice through in-home assessments and consultations

Generating and managing your own leads through a mix of cold calling, referrals, events, and networking

Working with inbound leads from our marketing and support team

Quoting, closing, and following up with customers to ensure satisfaction

Educating customers on efficiency, comfort, and available government subsidies (like Warmer Kiwi Homes)

What you’ll bring to the role:

A proven background in sales (preferably in HVAC, building, or home improvement industries)

Confidence in meeting people, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions

A self-starter mindset—you own your calendar and drive your results

Tech-savvy with experience using CRM tools and quoting software

Clear communication and a professional, approachable style

A full or restricted driver’s license and willingness to travel around the Bay of Plenty

A solid work ethic and comfort with occasional hands-on work (roof space and underfloor inspections)
