About the RoleJoin our friendly and supportive laboratory team, providing Point of Care (POCT) support for clinical services across the Waikato district. This is a temporary position to cover parental leave for 12 months.The successful applicant will work as part of a small, friendly team of laboratory staff, applying their medical laboratory skills to support and maintain the POCT service.
This includes managing and maintaining a wide range of equipment, validating new devices, training POCT users, troubleshooting issues, conducting audits, and overseeing quality assurance activities. Click here to view the position description.
About the Team/Service/ LocationThe POCT Coordinators are based within the modern laboratory at Waikato Hospital and also provide support to the four smaller hospital laboratories within the Waikato region, regularly travelling to clinical areas and equipment locations to deliver onsite assistance and support.
