Experienced Excavator Operator
Keith Bullock Contracting Ltd is an Earthmoving and Cartage Contractor based in Porirua, working within the Wellington Region. At Bullocks we specialise in a variety of works such as Bulk earthworks, Sub-Division Developments, Site Works, Section Development, Demolition, and Road Maintenance.
We are looking for an experienced Excavator Operator who is fully conversant with GPS controlled machinery and highly skilled at final trim works. The ability to work with both precision and accuracy is a must.Candidates must have a proven track record in Civil Construction.
Your role will be to join our dynamic team; operating a range of equipment in a fleet comprising 1.7-50T Excavators, and other Earthmoving machinery. You will work across multiple sites and face technically challenging environments which will require you to demonstrate adaptability and focus.
What we are looking for:- Proven 5 years Excavator operating experience with GPS ability - ESSENTIAL
- Minimum Full Class 1 Drivers License with WTR endorsements
- Good attitude towards the maintenance and care of machinery
- Motivated, reliable, hardworking with excellent communications skills
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Follow plans and instructions
- Strong focus on Health & Safety, not only for yourself but for your colleagues and the public
- Environmental awareness and an understanding of erosion and sediment controls
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and drive to learn new skills
- Valid First Aid and a current Site Safe Civil Passport would be ideal, but not essential
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
