Chef De Partie
Tides Hotel Bar & Eatery Nelson is looking for A Chef de Partie to join our fabulous kitchen team. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for good food, proven experience in a restaurant or hotel, enjoy a busy kitchen environment are a team player.
Full-Time Position The Hourly pay rate will depend on experience but will be from $30+ per hour. Guarantees 30 Hours + per week. You will be responsible for but not limited too; Breakfast, Lunch, dinner and conference catering service. Adhering to our food control plan. Preparing and controlling each section you are designated too.Ensuring all areas are clean and tidy. Responsible for the maintenance of required standards of food preparation and presentation for room service. Responsible for coordinating all orders and their quick and efficient distribution. Responsible for accepting any other food items delivered to the kitchen.

A minimum of 2 years kitchen experience is needed, be professional, creative and have a positive attitude along with a sound understanding of a kitchen structure and operation.
Our restaurant is fast-paced being open all day from 6.15am - 9.00pm and catering for our onsite conference and events center. We need someone who is honest and reliable and is flexible with hours who can work a mixture of morning, day and evening shifts (finishing around 9pm / 9.30pm).
