About the Role
Due to continued growth in the region, we are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Field Service Technician to join our Hamilton-based team.
This is a varied and dynamic role that will see you working across a range of industries, servicing and supporting our quality equipment brands both in the field and in our workshop.
Key Responsibilities:- Service, repair, install and commission diesel generators, rotary-screw & reciprocating air compressors, and Karcher industrial cleaning equipment
- Diagnose faults and perform preventative maintenance on-site and in our workshop
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support
- Complete accurate service reports and documentation
- Participate in after-hours breakdown support on a rostered basis
- Mechanical and/or electrical trade background
- Proven diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Full Class 1 NZ driver's licence
- Limited Electrical Licence (EST) or Electrical Registration desirable but not essential
