Our restaurant based in Nelson. We are currently looking for cook. You will be offered this position with $25-$30 per hour depending on your experience and skills. This role will be a permanent position and will be guaranteed 30 hours per week.
The maximum number of hours is 50 hours per week. Don’t hesitate to join us if you are interested in this job.
Tasks Include:
- Evaluating the quality of food before cooking, make sure all raw materials have not expired or deteriorated;
- Preserves and cooks food and consults food preparation
- Assisting in creating new flavors menu dishes;
- Adjusting the temperatures of cooking equipment like Owen, grills, and others as needed;
- Ensures all menu items are available throughout the entire trading day
- Ensures kitchen hygiene and cleanliness is maintained to highest standard;
- Stocking checking and ordering food supplies;
- Undertakes other duties
The successful candidate must have at least 2 years of relevant work experience
