Capital Height Services are rope access and high-rise building maintenance and cleaning specialists, servicing commercial and industrial buildings for construction companies and body corporate managers across the Wellington Region.
We have exciting opportunities available for experienced and qualified Builders and Carpenters keen to work in the abseil space and become Abseil Rope Access Technicians.
Although an Abseil qualification is desirable, we are willing to support the right person through the IRATA training course.
You will be working with a dedicated team who hold Health and Safety to the highest standard. We deliver excellence in service and provide a stable and secure employment environment.

This is a varied role involving maintenance services such as building repairs, and maintenance services such as joint sealant work, leak investigations, window rubber replacement, glazing, painting, pest control, building washing, water blasting and many more!
What can we offer you?- Full time, permanent employment (minimum 30 hrs per week).
- Competitive remuneration ($30-$36 per hour, based on experience).

- Qualified Builder or Carpenter – essential.
- Hold a current abseil rope access qualification including IRATA or IRAANZ (although not essential but must be prepared to complete the industry training).
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
- Commitment to maintain the highest levels of Health & Safety.
- Have a great attitude and are keen to learn.
- Good communication skills.
- Hold a valid NZ driver's license or international driving permit.
- First Aid and scaffolding certifications and EWP experience would be an advantage, although not essential.
- Applicants must have New Zealand Citizenship/Residency or a valid work visa.
