Communications Advisor

• Turn complex material into well-messaged, impactful copy for newsletters, web, and social.
• Deliver audience-centric content that contributes to the client's communications goals.
• Run campaigns end to end: brief, draft, approvals, publish, measure, refine, and wrap.
• Keep busy stakeholders informed/involved.
• Spot risks early and set practical mitigations.

• Degree in Communications or a related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in Communications, Public Relations, or Engagement.
• Strong understanding of communications strategies and tactics and how to apply them to meet objectives.
• Ability to deliver complicated ideas clearly in writing and in conversation.
• Strong editorial and writing skills.
• Understanding and practical experience of social media is desirable.
• Skilled in design/formatting is desirable.
• Comfortable with common tools: email platforms, social schedulers, analytics.

• Permanent part-time (~0.5 FTE) or contractor by agreement.
• NZ-based virtual work, occasional in-person as needed.
• Reporting to the Communications Director.
