About the Role – Mo te Turanga
Banbury Park is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our team and deliver exceptional care to our residents. The position is part-time with a minimum of 20 hours per week, and shifts are on a 7-day roster, which includes weekend work.Flexibility is essential to ensure continuity of care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing safe, effective, and person-centered nursing care
- Leading and supporting care staff to maintain best practice standards
- Monitoring and documenting residents’ health status and responding promptly to changes
- Administering medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines
- Maintaining accurate records using clinical software systems
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and audits
- Upholding Infection Prevention and Control measures and Health & Safety protocols.
About You – Nga Korero Mou
You’ll bring:
- Current NZ Registered Nurse practising certificate
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in NZ healthcare (aged care experience advantageous)
- Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Leadership qualities to inspire and motivate your team
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
