We provide inpatientand outpatient care for up to 50 new diagnoses per year. Our regional servicesprovide shared care support for Tamariki (children) and their whanau (families)in the South Island and lower North Island and we participate in high qualityclinical research programmes.About YouWe are looking to recruit a Registered Nurse, preferablywith paediatric oncology experience (although, it is not essential) to join ourdedicated multidisciplinary team to continue to ensure the quality care for thetamariki within our service.

Our nurses are supported as we seek to provide clinicalexcellence with professional development and ongoing learning needs. If you believe you could make a positive contribution to thelives of tamariki and their whanau, we would like to hear from you.

Experience in Child Health and/or chemotherapy administrationExperience in CVAD - Central Venous Access DeviceMust be able to work all shifts - Morning, Afternoon and Nights across Monday to SundayExcellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage well.Effective problem solving and decision-making skills.Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a multidisciplinary teamAble to work well under pressureInitiative and a proactive approach to workRegistered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuringexcellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
