Super Casual Bar & Eatery is your friendly neighbourhood dining in the CBD area of Rotorua.We take pride in our cosy and comfortable meal options paired with the perfect accompaniments from the bar. We provide everything from authentic sliders and pizzas to meals infused with flavours.

A warm atmosphere welcomes you every time you enter the Supercasual bar and eatery. We are looking to employ a Restaurant Manager.

As a Restaurant Manager your duites will include
  • Effectively manage the overall operations of The Super Casual Bar & Eatery
  • Lead the team independently and supervise the staff for smooth routine operations of business.
  • Strategically plan the growth of business at local level ensuring maximum regular casualcustomer.
  • Introduce and implement new and innovative ideas to generate revenue.
  • Plan promotions and combos to attract customers as part of marketing.
  • Responsible for proper planning, organizing, executing & supervising all Operations of The Super Casual Bar & Eatery including Venue/Party/Event booking, Planning and organizing parties andprivate functions.
  • Manage operations with passion, integrity and knowledge while promoting the culture andvalues of the company.
  • Manage the Restaurant to meet or exceed standards in food quality, safety and cleanliness.
  • Consistently monitor product and labor costs to remain within goals.
  • Planning menus in consultation with Chefs
  • Monitors inventory levels and orders supplies as needed
  • Manages budgets and financial transactions, including cash handling and reporting
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery ofgoods and services
  • Provide directions to shift leaders and staff to achieve the company goals.
  • Responsible for selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
  • Provide coaching and feedback to staff and assess performance on an ongoing basis andconsistently review operations and staff to identify any problems, concerns and opportunitiesfor improvement
  • Take random customer feedback to assess their satisfaction regarding customer service andfood and use the same for making a change in strategy of the business.
  • Planning menus in consultation with Chefs and reviewing customer feedback (periodically)
  • Create positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensuring all staffengage guests to understand their needs and exceed expectations
  • Follow the company policies and procedures including those for cash handling andsafety/security
  • Conduct staff meetings.
  • Consistently monitor product and labour costs to remain within goals.
  • Ensure a safe environment for clients and staff alike at all times.
  • That all staff complies with current Health and Safety legislation

Requirements: Age 18 years or older.

Qualification i.e. Diploma in Business/Hospitality management or Three year of relevantexperience in similar position in hospitality industry
Strong leadership, motivational and people skill

Ability to work in a Multicultural Environment.

Good customer service skills
Team player and ability to work competently under pressure.

Reliable and flexible to change.
