A warm atmosphere welcomes you every time you enter the Supercasual bar and eatery. We are looking to employ a Restaurant Manager.
As a Cook your responsibilities will include :- Preparing food as in the menu according to recipe, following the recipe to 100%
- Setting kitchen up for busy periods
- Ensuring stock is rotated to minimise wastage and kept and correct temperatures
- Washing, cutting, measuring and mixing foods for cooking
- Operating cooking equipment such as grills, microwaves and deep-fat fryers
- Cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils
- Ordering and taking delivery of food ingredients
- Arrange delivery of prepared food and beverages
- Ensuring prep and ordering lists are always being completed each day
- Maintain Hygiene standards in Kitchen
- Maintain food preparation areas to keep the food safety standards.
- Other duties that may be allocated as required.
- Age 18 years or older.
- Qualification in Cookery (NZ Register Level 4 qualification or it's equivalent overseas qualification) OR Three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications
- Ability to work in a Multicultural Environment.
- Team player and ability to work competently under pressure.
- Reliable and flexible to change.
Please note, this is a full-time position with rostered/split shifts, including weekends. Applicant should be available as per the rostered shifts including weekends. Applicant for this position should have NZ Residency or a valid NZ work visa.
Although experience is preferred, it is not essential. Training will be provided to the successful applicants.
