Are you a passionate and inspiring leader ready to make a real impact in early childhood education? We’re on the lookout for a Tean Leader to guide our Toddler & Pre School team at our Mataki Way Centre in Glen Eden.

We provide a warm, nurturing environment influenced by the RIE/Pikler approach, with a curriculum grounded in Te Whariki and a strong commitment to our Te Tiriti o Waitangi partnership. We pride ourselves on creating spaces where tamariki thrive and kaiako feel truly valued.

Our Mataki Way centre is licensed for 60 children, 18 under two.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading the delivery of a high-quality, child-centered educational programme
  • Upholding curriculum excellence and maintaining full compliance with regulatory standards
  • Driving a culture of continuous professional development and progressive teaching practices
  • Ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of both children and staff
  • Building strong, respectful relationships with whanau and the wider community
About You:
  • Hold a Tuturu / Full Practising Certificate (Category One)
  • Have a minimum of 2 years leadership experience in early childhood education
  • Have an open mind, a growth mindset, proactive attitude, and a proven ability to lead and inspire teams
