Daikoku Group is looking for experienced Restaurant Assistant Managers to join our team.

Employment type: Full-time and PermanentDays required: 5 days per week
Hours per week: 30 (minimum) - 45 hours
Hourly pay: $25 - $30
Job Description with key tasks and responsibilities:- Support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations and overall business management.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
- Help prepare budgets, track sales, and manage cost controls.
- Supervise staff during service, assist with recruitment, training, and performance reviews.
- Contribute to menu planning and maintain food quality standards.
- Assist with supplier negotiations, stock control, and inventory checks.
- Support marketing activities, special events, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Provide operational leadership in the Manager’s absence.
- Minimum three years of work experience in a restaurant, and evidence must be provided
- One year of managemental experience, and evidence must be provided
- Full understanding and good knowledge of hospitality industry ethics
- Effective communication skills and great interpersonal skills
- Not essential, but knowledge of Japanese food and/or experience at any Japanese restaurant may be preferrable
