Financial Accountant

• Successful property company, CBD location, ideally CA qualified
• Self motivated, proven financial acc experience, Xero experience desirable

Our successful property client is looking for a Financial Accountant for a fixed term contract or permanent role. This position is responsible for preparing financial accounting and tax information for management purposes across multiple entities and development projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with preparations of monthly accounts and group consolidation
• Evaluate accounting systems, procedures and practices and make appropriate recommendations for improvements
• Prepare GST returns for multiple entities
• Bank reconciliations and payment allocations in Xero
• Assist with other accounting activities as required
• Assist with accounts payable including invoice processing, statement reconciliations and payment preparation.

We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant, ideally CA qualified. This is a newly created role, reporting into the CFO and supporting the business with property developments including residential, retail and commercial properties.
