About the Role The primary purpose of this role is to lead core business management, reporting to ensure the performance reporting, risk functions, and briefings for the People, Culture, Health and Safety group are robust, responsive and high quality.
This includes developing, writing and reviewing decision and information papers for senior leaders and Ministers, and supporting monitoring and reporting functions to ensure the achievement of strategic and operational key performance measures.About youYou will have a minimum of 8 years of experience developing and advising Senior Leaders.
This will be through written advice, reporting and programme management. You bring a strong understanding of what it takes to design and implement important initiatives, drive work programmes and lead key workstreams.As well as: Relevant graduate and post‑graduate qualificationStrong knowledge of the machinery of government, including complex Official Information Act (OIA) requests OIAExperience working with Ministerial officesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong coaching and mentoring experienceHigh‑level judgement and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced settingExcellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skillsCollaborative, collegial approach and strong attention to detailAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamWorking for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
