ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a newly created, multifaceted role where you will be responsible for various Office and Admin Support as well as Accounts and Finance Support.
The role is a 6-month fixed term contract with the potential to go permanent.
It's Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm (however there is some flexibility around the start and finish times) and is fully office based.
KEY DUTIES- Preparing, formatting, and uploading documents
- Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and helping keep everyone on track
- Assisting in planning team events— morning teas, socials, and quarterly gatherings
- Greeting visitors with a smile and provide general support to clients and guests
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Managing accounts receivable and payable
- Inputting creditor invoices accurately and promptly
- Coordinating weekly and monthly creditor payments
- Supporting and processing payroll as needed
- Working with Shopify for order/payment tracking and reconciliation
- 5+ years' experience in an admin, accounts, or office support role
- System savvy - knowledge of Xero, MS office, google workspace and Shopify ideal but not essential
- Experience with accounts payable, receivable, and payroll functions
- Positive "can do" attitude and flexible
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Well-presented and excellent communications skills both written and verbal
- Comfortable working in fast-paced and rapidly changing environments
